Artist, Dick Bobnick, has been a successful award winning illustrator for over forty years. Notable portrait commissions for the collectibles industry and book covers have included baseball stars Kirby Puckett, Greg Maddux and Ryne Sandberg, football legends Jim Kelly, Joe Montana and Bret Favre, golf greats, Sam Snead and Tiger Woods. His many portraits of stars of the entertainment world created for U.S. federal stamp caches include iconic Jazz trumpeter, Louis Armstrong, Country giants Hank Williams and Patsy Cline.

Dick's celebrated portrait of Mother Teresa was marketed worldwide by the Franklin Mint as was his portrait of Hollywood screen legend, Marilyn Monroe, commissioned for the front and back cover of the special Collectors' edition of Joyce Carole Oates' novel, BLONDE. His six painting series of the JAMES BOND films, starring Sean Connery, created for Heirloom Collector Plates, were one of the most popular in Franklin Mint history as was his six painting series commemorating the famous GUNSMOKE TV series.
