Description
Portrait study of the fictional radio, comic book movie and television action hero, the Lone Ranger and his wonder steed, Silver. The Lone Ranger was portrayed by adventure film actor, Clayton Moore, in the popular TV series (1949-1957) and in two feature films, THE LONE RANGER, 1956, and THE LONE RANGER AND THE LOST CITY OF GOLD, 1958. Subsequently, there were four later feature films with other actors portraying The Lone Ranger. This painting was commissioned and produced by the Franklin Mint as a commemorative Heirloom collector plate.
